Ilari Henrik Aegerter. Software testing needs a high level of proficiency

We are thrilled to announce that software testing guru Ilari Henrik Aegerter is invited to Yerevan by the Association for Software Testing Armenia to share his experience.

This is a really important opportunity both for the professionals of the field and the newcomers to learn from an A-list professional. Aegerter will share his thoughts on artificial intelligence bots in software testing and the possibilities of being replaced by bots.

Cyborg-friendly humanist, opinion holder, general manager, lecturer – this is how software testing guru Ilari Henrik Aegerter describes himself on his Linkedin personal account.

From General Linguistics and Sociology to Software Engineering and Testing, the love of the profession inspired him to intensively work on his skills, managing to become one of the leading professionals in the field.

Managing Director of House of Test GmbH believes that a context-driven tester is a natural outcome and that software testing is not a clerical job but a profession, which needs a high level of proficiency.

In 2013 Aegerter co-founded the International Society for Software Testing (ISST). Two years later he was elected as Vice President of the board of the Association for Software Testing (AST). He is also a lecturer at the HSR technical university for the post-graduate course CAS Software Testing.

This is Aegerter’s second visit to Armenia. Back in 2019 he participated in the panel discussion moderated within Yerevan Testing Days.

“It is a pleasure for us to host Ilari Henrik Aegerter again. There is so much to learn from him. Last time we also had the privilege of having Ilari Henrik as a special guest at Quality Tech Lab, and I still hear the feedbacks from our team members about the impressive and efficient training. I truly believe his visit and participation in our meetups is an important milestone for the entire software testing community in Armenia”, the founder and CEO of Quality Tech Lab, and the chairman of  Association for Software Testing Armenia Aramayis Hovhannisyan states.

Ilari Henrik Aegerter will be speaking about Artificial Intelligence, the interpretation of its hype around AI, the option of completely removing the human element from testing and much more. The meetup will take place on June 2nd. Join the event here.

The Association for Software Testing Armenia is a non-profit professional association for members from Armenia, dedicated to advancing the understanding of the science and practice of software testing according to Context-Driven principles.
